If you can't find an answer, please review the Advanced Search help for tips on using our most powerful search features. If reviewing the appropriate help document doesn't answer your question, if you find incorrect information, or if you have a hard time finding something you're sure is in the Knowledge Base please let us know. Report broken links in Knowledge Base documents Many Knowledge Base documents contain links to other documents and websites. We do our best to maintain these links, but from time to time you may find one that is broken. Please include the document number when you submit feedback and our writers will update it. Tell us about difficulties downloading software updates Are you receiving error messages or seeing error messages, getting incomplete files, or having other software download issues? Review technical document 44000, "Common Error Messages When Downloading Files". This article explains error messages frequently encountered by our customers. If the error message you see is not discussed in this document, please submit feedback to Apple's Software Download team. Find answers to your QuickTime questions Please read the comprehensive QuickTime 6 FAQ before you submit feedback to the QuickTime team at Apple. The most frequently asked questions about downloading and using QuickTime 6 are addressed in the FAQ. QuickTime support is available from the QuickTime support website. If you cannot resolve your QuickTime issue with the help provided at these websites, please submit your comments to the QuickTime team. Find drivers for Apple and third party printers If you are looking for an Apple printer driver, see technical document 30154, "LaserWriter Printers: Mac OS Print Drivers and Cable Matrix", then download the driver from the earlier software download area. If your printer is a third party printer (not an Apple Printer) If your printer is a third-party printer (not an Apple Printer) check the "downloads," "drivers," or "updates" section of your printer manufacturer's website. Some third-party printer manufacturers include HP, Epson, and Lexmark. Upgrade from Mac OS 8.x to Mac OS 9 To upgrade to Mac OS 9 from Mac OS 8, you can purchase a Mac OS 9 CD in the United States by calling 1-800-MY APPLE (1-800-692-7753). The Mac OS 9 CD is not available from the Apple online store. Before you purchase a Mac OS 9 CD, read technical document 60725 "Mac OS 9: Before you Install Read Me and make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
